instruction

1. Take the plaster rolls. Cut strips and squares. Put some cream on your hand so that you can get the plaster off later.

2. Dip one strip in the bowl of water and then place it on your hand. Do the same with the other strips. And leave a few left over. You will need them later.

3. When you have formed your whole hand, carefully cut into the inside of the formed plaster hand and remove it from your hand. Try to leave the formed plaster hand whole as much as possible.

4. Repair the cut hole with the remaining strips of plaster.

5. Let the whole thing dry. This can take about a day.

6. Now take the wooden board and saw out a square.

7. Place your plaster hand on this plate. If it does not sit properly, carefully cut the hand straight at the bottom. Fix it with air-drying clay. Then let everything dry again.

8. Now comes the most beautiful part: you paint your moulded plaster hand. Everything is allowed. You can also cut out pictures and glue them on with paste. Let everything dry again.

9. If you have picture varnish at home, paint or spray this over the finished plastic. This gives a nice shine and the colours last longer.

Your plaster hand is ready.

Tip: You can use any hand for this plastic and make great souvenirs. For example, combine your hand with the hands of your siblings, your own children, friends etc.
