instruction

 1. Draw a template on paper as you see Shadow from the front. Make sure that the small details are not too small e.g. the antennae.

 2. Cut out the template and place it on the black fabric. Draw the pattern with the white crayon.

3. Cut out Shadow. Make sure that there is at least 1 cm distance to the crayon drawing. Later the crayon drawing is the seam and this needs additional fabric, otherwise the two pieces of fabric will separate again after sewing.

4. Create an identical second black fabric and lay both pieces on top of each other.

5. Sew the two fabrics together. Make sure you leave a gap at the bottom.

6. Turn the two fabrics sewn together inside out. This can be a little tricky, especially with the small details. It is best to use a chopstick to help you. This will help you get to the small details.

7. Cut out the eyes of Shadow. Use the yellow fabric for this. Place eyes on Shadow and sew them on. The best way is to use this technique:

8. Fill Shadow with cotton wool or with the contents of the cushion and sew it closed at the bottom.

9. Now only the feet are missing. They are sewn in the same way as the body. When you have finished the two feet, they are sewn to the end of the legs.

Your Shadow is ready.
